Big Chore

I found these pictures and a story about them on the internet and found them interesting. The Union Pacific has only three Big Boys left. This one was on display in a museum, but they wanted it moved across Omaha and put it on a hill over looking the interstate. It took a big mover, 114 wheels. Crossing the BNSF mainline tracks, an axle broke, leaving the train stuck. The mover took days to cross Omaha and inched along the whole time. Because of the size of this loco, the movers had to widen corners, move street lights, etc. They finally got it there though.

Combo

At school, I was asked by my band teacher to join a combo. A combo is like a small jazz band. We have a trap set, a bass, a trumpet, an alto saxophone, flute, two trombones, and I'm playing congas.
