I do tend to have some strong political beliefs, but this election, I have had seen so much that is corrupt that I am starting to worry about our future as a nation. I have decided that I will not just sit around and whine about what is happening, I will spread the world and let others know.
Lately, the Obama campaign has made a group of police officials that are named the Truth Squad. The whole idea of this group is to stop lies about Obama from getting out. The biggest problem is that they don't only censor things that are not true, (They do let many lies through) but anything that puts Obama in a bad light. The things that scare me the most is that it takes away our constitutional rights. It limits our freedom of speech to anything that will help Obama, plus it limits our freedom of the press. The other thing that scares me is that it is just like Hitler's Gestapo during World War II. If they heard, or even thought they heard, you say anything against the Nazis Party, they would arrest you and charge you with high treason. And the same thing is happening, in America, Now! We need to do all that we can to stop this from getting to far out of hand, to the point that we will greatly regret it.

great...except Obama isn't Hitler. he may think he has power, but he doesn't. his "Truth Squad" crap may "stop lies about Obama from spreading" but they can't sensor everything. i see stuff every day that rips into Obama and talks about what a socialist he is. they don't stop that. they just stop stuff from hitting front page news. if you really want to find out the real stuff about Obama, the stuff not censored, just dig a little. they can't stop that from spreading.
it's not quite to the extreme of Hitler-ism yet, but i agree that it is a problem. and the Truth Squad doesn't only do it, it's the general public that won't allow anything bad to be said about their Obama.
so, while they aren't quite like the Nazis, we're on the way...=)
Yes guitarer, we actually agree. They can't stop it from spreading, but they can try. They aren't quite like the Nazis yet, but there is a lot in common. We do need to try to stop it.
P.S. They don't care what is said about their Obama, It's their "Messiah" and "Savior" that they worry about. Obama is just a name, "Messiah" is a title.
